England Hockey group visit 10th March 2020

Please see below the feedback received from the England Hockey group who visited our Club last Tuesday 10th March.

Myself and 15 other members of the England Hockey Commercial Team descended upon Egham Bowls Club as part of a team day out.

When placing the booking, Trevor really went above and beyond to accommodate a large group of complete novices, putting aside 3 rinks for us to use and giving me a prompt call to book the rinks and discuss everything we might need to know for the day.

 On the day, Trevor and the rest of the club could not have been more welcoming – providing equipment, giving us coaching for the full 2 hour period and even opening up the bar for us… so we could discuss our differing levels of prowess in the game of bowls over a drink.

 One of the group was Jon Cockcroft the soon-to-be Bowls England CEO, he remarked on what a great club Egham is and we all join him in saying that it was a brilliant day out – some of the team were looking at memberships the next day in the office.
